TripleC DANC Networking event

What’s a Networking Event ?

We are really excited to be hosting our next DANC (Disabled Artists Networking Community) networking event. Stop Press: the online networking segment is now sold out. You can still watch our guest speakers and our talent showcase via the live stream.

5pm to 8pm, doors open at 4:30pm (online event starts at 5:45PM)

We’ve had a rejig of the format as we always like to keep things fresh, and we know from your feedback that you’d like to have more networking time.

Online attendees: you will be able to use the live stream comments function to introduce yourself and ask your questions. Part two will be via Zoom so you can network on camera.

  • Everyone will have the chance to introduce themselves briefly so we all get a sense of who is in the room. We’ll also facilitate conversations with three industry speakers with a chance for you to ask your questions. The live stream will begin at the start of the industry guest conversations at 5.40pm.

This is all about networking. There will be a rich mix of deaf, disabled and/or neurodivergent creatives and representatives from a range of arts and media organisations. This is your chance to connect with your fellow creatives.

Online attendees will be able to chat to each other and with our three guest speakers.

The event will close with a brief creative showcase to remind us all of the fantastic DANC talent that’s out there.

"Box of Tricks have always been a company that put their money where their mouth is when it comes to supporting new writers and uplifting unheard voices. I can't wait to not only keep breaking new ground in my own creative work with them, but also to play a part in building communities and networks among northern writers."
