Alexandra Maxwell - 53Two General Manager.

  • Originally from Liverpool now living in Manchester I am primarily an actor with stage/screen experience and am also co-founder and general manager of 53two which is the only fully accessible independent theatre in the city centre. 

Jenny Berry - Writer, Voice Over Artist & Performance Poet.

Jenny Berry is a writer, voice over artist and performance poet (published) from Salford who often dips her toe into comedy too.
Her passion for storytelling has taken her across prisons and marginalised groups for the past 10 years helping people to explore their own identity to language.

Jen can often be found speaking at events, performing at festivals or writing scripts for universities to turn their research into art. Her mantra is simply this: ‘everyone has a voice they just need the skills to express it in their own way’.

Sonia is a northern Casting Director working on projects with her team for BBC, SKY & ITV. She is also one of the founders of the CDGs Equality, Diversity & Inclusion committee and is always working towards positive change in the industry with her colleagues on the committee.

“About me:

Z-arts is a arts centre for children and families, we have a theatre, an interactive exhibition, lots of brilliant classes for children in art, dance, drama, yoga. We also have a brand new children’s library opening on the 15th October.

I book the shows into the theatre, I also support other venues in the Big Imaginations network to book shows into their spaces.

I work with artists to develop their ideas.

I also lead well-being for the organisation and work very closely supporting Front Of House and Marketing.

I love working at Z-arts and it is never a dull day! “
