Access Funding Scheme 2026
Following the success of the 2024/25 bursary scheme, TripleC is running a second bursary funding scheme for deaf, disabled and/or neurodivergent (DDN) crew on behalf of ScreenSkills, supported by the ScreenSkills High-end TV Skills Fund with contributions from UK high-end TV productions. There will be one round of awards. These will be made in February and March 2026. The application deadline is January 16th 2026.
Who it's for?

Deaf, disabled and/or neurodivergent off-screen freelance crew currently working in or aiming to return to working in High-End TV (HETV). This includes writers, directors and producers.

What it covers?

Funding should be used to remove access barriers which stop you from progressing or returning to work in HETV.

Due to the wide range of barriers, we are open to what can be funded. Examples might include training, aids, accommodation, travel, driving lessons, childcare, support to apply to Access to Work, software and equipment. But there may be other things you need.

Priority will be given to adjustments or equipment that would not be funded by Access to Work, either because they would not meet their criteria or it would take too long to get the funding.

You can apply for between £100 and £1,000 (including VAT). We can fund up to 100% of the cost, so you may not have to contribute.

We will pay 80% of the bursary up front, and 20% on production of a receipt confirming spend. All bursary spend should take place by the end of March 2026. Where expenditure relates to an activity such as training or driving lessons, it should be completed within 6 months of the award.

What can’t be funded?

We cannot fund academic courses for universities or colleges.
