Samie graduated with a degree in event management in 2019. Since then she has had various roles in the event industry from weddings to corporate. She now works within the live music and festival industry for Cuffe and Taylor – Live Nations. There Samie’s role is focused within accessibility and ensuring that their whole portfolio of outdoor events are accessible and inclusive for their customers, artists and crew. This involves procuring accessible suppliers and equipment, working with site teams to make sure the customer journey, site and infrastructure is accessible, streamlining the access ticketing process, and managing any access requests from artists and crew.

Samie joined DANC in 2020 and started freelancing for TripleC from 2022. Her role has been predominantly in the digital team as tech support for webinars and masterclasses along with assisting with social media and marketing tasks. She has also been involved with the administration and organisation of projects such as the Channel 4 RISE mentoring scheme and DANC networking events.
