Steph Lacey is a disabled writer and actor based in Manchester. In 2024 she was chosen as one the ‘Regional Breakthrough Writers’ for ScreenSkills and DandI and has written on BBC’s PHOENIX RISE, WE CARE for Hot Coals Productions, TO BE A SLUT for JB Shorts, LOVE LEFTOVER for Vignettes/HER Productions, as well as having some original TV works in development. As an actor Steph has recently appeared in RED EYE for Bad Wolf/ITVX, STAY CLOSE for Red Productions/Netflix and BRIDGERTON for Shondaland/Netflix. This year she has completed her PhD in Urban Studies, exploring the impact of homelessness on education.
Steph works with the Creative Team at TripleC, helping to organise events, delivering access consultancy and training and she also works on the Access Coordinator training programme in an organisational capacity; creating course content, delivering Access Coordinator training and providing opportunities for industry and Access Coordinators to connect.
